Submitting Artwork
Artwork can be submitted in one of the following formats: JPEG / TIFF / PDF / PSD (Photoshop) or AI (Illustrator) and must not contain any more than four colours. Raster images (i.e. Photoshop) should be 300dpi and submitted at the actual size you'd like it printed, but no larger than A3. This means that your image must be created at 300dpi from the very start of the design process all the way to the end to ensure a high enough resolution. We understand that this can be difficult to do when you have the perfect design but the wrong tools to create it, and if this is the case then please email and we'll try our best to put it right; chances are we'll be able to recreate it as a vector file (Illustrator). In some cases we may have to charge a little extra for this service but don't worry, we'll always contact you to ensure you're completely happy before we go ahead with your order. For any further advice and information please contact us.
Your design
When creating your design please try to avoid using photographic images, illustration and colour gradients. Screen printing is an analogue process and it's very difficult to reproduce this kind of artwork. The most effective way to produce your image is to use solid colours. If there is any text in your design please make sure that it is converted to outlines or embedded. Lines should also be no thinner than .75.
Position
Please specify where you would like your design to be printed on the garment.
Colour and Colour Separation
Colours can differ slightly from screen to screen so it's very helpful if you submit your artwork in CMYK mode. If not, no worries, we always do our best to colour match. The same goes for colour separation: if you can separate each colour either with layers or individual files it's a big help, but also something we should be able to do here. Again, if in doubt, contact us.
